Keeping up with the costs of running a private school is an ongoing challenge. Several of the private schools with religious affiliations in the Rochester area have closed or combined in recent years.
 

The founders of Rochester Christian School knew from the beginning that depending on tuition alone would not deliver a firm financial footing for the ongoing operation of the school. The school has always leaned on the Christian community to help underwrite Christian education. Exactly how this happened over the years has continued to change but the steadfast support has remained.
 

Today’s reality is that the on-going support will increasingly need to come from endowment funds to avoid the ups and downs found in the annual fundraising activities and their results.
 

The RCS Foundation raises these dollars for the Endowment Fund to continue to support the school and its families.
